"Basically, the Campaign is a way to link those of us in the writing community together with the aim of helping to build our online platforms. The Campaigners are all bloggers in a similar position, who genuinely want to pay it forward, make connections and friends within the writing community, and help build each others' online platforms while at the same time building theirs."

New follower and fellow campaigner here. I just wanted to say that I find your blog fascinating, especially as someone writing a YA Sci-Fi with a female lead. Please rant more.

Also from the campaign. Thus far I am in love with your blog. Your article beneath this one is fascinating and I wholeheartedly agree. One of the reasons why I write is to promote strong female characters without going for Strong Female Characters, if you get my drift.

Thanks for the kind words. I will explore websites soon after student papers are graded.

Hildred, I hope to return the visit this weekend when demands from students are less. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

hi! Just stopping by all the fantasy group on the campaign trail. You have an interesting premise for your blog. I guess I am a bit guilty of going over-kill on the male characters. For me, they are easier to write, even though I'm a girl. Will be interested to read your perspective on this!

Hey! I'm also part of the Fantasy campaign group and also hitting all the blogs on the list. :-)

I'm also from the Campaign. :) It's nice to meet you!

Thanks for following my blog.

Thanks for the kind words. I like male characters and writing them: I just think solving problems as a girl is how I approach the world, so that perspective gets into my writing.
